May is our first meeting not at the Moose. We will be at Pantown Classics in St. Augusta. Ray will have directions in the siftings. Be sure to bring your car pictures for the calendar. When a car is put in the calendar, it is the only time it can be entered. If you have more than one car, you can enter another car every other year.
We had our 1st annual model car contest at our April meeting. Elmer Dahl made a very nice Best of Show trophy (thank you Elmer). This was awarded to Dave Nicol for his Fleetline Chevy. We also had 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Dave Nicol was 1st with his Dodge Darts. 2nd went to Shawn Nelson with his Garage Diorama display and Ken Pflipsen was 3rd with his large car display. Thank you Pete Voigt, Dennis Arntson and Warner Noble for judging all the cars. Thanks to all that brought cars to display.
I have parade gifts for Bob Sorkness, Jack Hennessey, Ray Schmit, Nathan Jarnot and Don Moran.
Make sure to bring your chairs to the May meeting. What Do You Know No Snow.
President , Jim Stodolka
Hello Fellow Pantowner's, Well the warm weather has finally arrived, I hope it stays.
First off I would like to remind everyone that Carefree Living has invited us to put on a car show for their residents on May 16th from 2 pm. to 4 pm. I believe we will park in the same area as last year. They will also give out a "Residents Choice Award". So far we have 6 people signed up to show their cars. The signup sheet will again be available at the next general meeting. Please make an effort, if you can, to bring your car out to this event as the residents really appreciated our club showing their vehicles last year.
I will also be printing a list of parades and events that I know about so far in the Siftings. I am in the process of getting the parade line up information and will be giving that out as soon as I get it.
Please, Drive Safely Everyone!

The snow is gone, the weather is getting warmer, the trees are starting to bud, and I have my car out of storage! It must be the start of the “Old Car Season”! With that brings the hustle and bustle of preparing for our annual Car Show & Swap Meet. Details are shaping up everyday . By the time you read this, the flyers will have been sent to the show car participants and the swap vendors. I’m getting phone calls from people interested in our show from all over.
We had our Car Show Chairpersons meeting on the 15th with a good turnout. For those who didn’t make it, I will be contacting you to see if you need any help from my end. If you are new to the club and don’t know what to do or who to ask about helping at the car show, just see me and I’ll direct you to areas that are looking for help. Right now, I think everyone needs help so pick an area and ask the chairperson. I will be announcing the different areas and introducing the chairpersons at the Membership Meeting. In the mean time, just call me if you have any questions. I’m in the roster …
Stay tuned …
