Hello everyone!
Now that 2012 is in full swing, hopefully you remembered to get your dues to Darlene Dickinson by February 1st in order to make the Roster. If not, she will still take your money!!!
The results of last month’s elections are as follows:
Fred Mehr is our New Vice-President;
Darlene Dickinson for Secretary;
Arnie Schmit and Keith Bauman as our new First Year Directors;
and Lester Zika for Sergeant at Arms.
The Board had accepted Fred Mehr’s resignation as a director which opened a position for Second Year Director. The Board appointed Gary Anderson to this position (see Board Minutes). With no new elected Treasurer, the Board appointed Kirk Dickinson to this position (see Board Minutes). In addition to the elections, I would like to thank Gary Anderson and Kirk Dickinson for accepting their noted positions.
At this month’s general meeting, I will be showing the “Pan Song” video, then as a club, we will take a vote on whether to move ahead with recreating the trial of Sam Pandolfo. If you have any questions or want to be involved with the “Trial Committee” contact Nick Prom, Tim Goodner, Nancy Zupan, Terry Knapek, Vince Thiel or myself.
I am working to put together a contest for young car enthusiasts, where the winner would be voted on by a committee. I would like for the club to offer a small cash award and a one year club membership. There will be an age restriction, vehicle ownership and detailed essay requirements. If you are interested in helping out with this, please call me for more information. Arnie Schmit will be helping with this as well – Thanks Arnie!.
Also, remember to sign up for this year’s Spring Banquet set for Saturday March 17th.
I am looking forward to a great year, and if there is anything I can do as your President, please let me know. That is it for now.

Hello Fellow Pantowners!
I would like to thank everyone for their vote of confidence in electing me for the vice president position and subsequent 3 yr committment including president and car show chairman. When you look ahead to three years; it seems like a long time. But, as you all know; when you look back; three years doesn't seem that long.
I look forward to all the "good' times we'll have in the next year and beyond. It'll be a pleasure getting to know more about the club and it's members. I'm sure I'll also get to know more about the Pan car since I'll now be on the Pan Committee. Please let me know if you have any thoughts or ideas on how we can make the club even better than it is.

My ‘34 was a complete frame off, ground up, 11 year labor of love (and some times hate). It is an all steel car, almost stock appearing on the outside with all the new car comforts on the inside; like tilt, cruise, AC and power everything, including the 375 HP boss 302, and an all Ford drivetrain, plus 18 mpg...not bad !
